B26 Deposit

Abitibi Metal’s Flagship Project

Key Facts

Location and Ownership

The B26 property, located 7 km south of the Selbaie mine, is approximately 90 km west of the Matagami mining camp and 140 km north-northwest of the city of Amos in Abitibi. The B26 property consists of 66 contiguous mining claims covering an area of 3,328.51 hectares.

Abitibi Metals secured an 80% earn-in option on the project (with 9.9% equity, $14.5M work commitment & $400K cash), building on SOQUEM’s legacy to unlock the full potential of this high-grade polymetallic deposit.

2026 Resource Update

Resources increased by 124% since the option agreement in 2023 with :

  • Indicated 13 Mt @ 1.19% Cu, 1.16% Zn, 0.44 g/t Au and 30.8 g/t Ag
  • Inferred 12.4 Mt @ 1.6% Cu, 0.16% Zn, 0.67 g/t Au and 8.1 g/t Ag

The updated estimate shows 40% increase in contained copper with 775 Mlbs Cu, 22% increase in contained gold with 451 koz Au, 9% increase in contained zinc with 376 Mlbs Zn, and 21% increase in contained silver 16 Moz Ag.

Successful 2025 Drill Programs & Accelerated 40,000m Program in 2026

In 2025, Abitibi Metals completed 42,980 metres of drilling across 54 holes, delivering strong results and establishing a solid foundation for a more robust and upgraded resource model. Building on this momentum, the Company launched its Phase 4 drill program in January 2026, comprising an accelerated 40,000-metre campaign designed to further expand the B26 deposit and initiate the first-ever regional exploration program.

High Recovery Rate

Preliminary metallurgical testing has confirmed a 98.3%   recovery on the Feeder Copper Zone and 96.1% on the Horizon  Zinc Zone.

B26 is a High-Grade, Polymetallic Deposit in the Prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt

The B26 Deposit, with an updated resource estimate of 25.3 million tonnes grading 2.1% copper equivalent, hosts approximately 775 million pounds of copper, 451,000 ounces of gold, and notable zinc and silver credits. This deposit stands as a foundational asset in supporting Quebec’s critical metals future.

The B26 Project leverages excellent infrastructure within a well-established mining district and offers significant exploration potential, remaining open both laterally and at depth. Active drilling and advanced exploration efforts are focused on positioning it as a premier polymetallic resource, essential to advancing the global energy transition.

Notes

(1) The cut-off grade used underground is an in-situ value of 100 US$/t (after processing recovery, equivalent to 1.03 % Cu, or 3.50 % Zn, or 1.38 g/t Au or 143.9 g/t Ag).
(2) The copper equivalent, and gold equivalent values are presented for comparison purposes.
(3) The mineral resources were estimated in compliance with Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum standards. These mineral resources were reported in accordance with the NI 43-101 standards.
(4) Mineral resources do not constitute mineral reserves because they have not demonstrated economic viability.
(5) Inferred resources are exclusive of indicated resources.
(6) The effective date of these mineral resources is January 1, 2026.
(7) The resources are estimated with a cut-off on the combined value of a tonne of resource.
(8) The in-situ value of the resources as well as the Cu, and Au equivalents are calculated with recoveries of Cu: 98.3 %, Zn: 96.1 %, Au: 90 %, Ag: 72.1 % and Pb: 44 %  and prices of Cu: 9,922 $/t (4.5 $/lb), Zn: 2,976 $/t (1.35 $/lb), Au: 2,500 $/oz, Ag: 30 $/oz and Pb: 0.85 $/lb.
(9) All resources are presented in-situ and undiluted.
(10) All $ values are in US$ unless specifically noted.
(11)All figures are rounded to reflect the relative accuracy of the estimate. Numbers may not add due to rounding.

Geology & Historical Results

The mineralization style at B26 is composed of stacked massive and semi-massive polymetallic sulfide lenses extending over a kilometer within a  strongly dipping basin filled with felsic volcanics. Sulfide-rich mineralization is mostly hosted in rhyolite and associated tuffs. Two main types of mineralization characterize the deposit. The northern part of the mineralized system is characterized by chalcopyrite veins and veinlets hosted in sericitized and chloritized rhyolite. The southern portion of the system contains mostly disseminated to massive sphalerite, pyrite and galena mineralization, hosted in a dome of massive rhyolite. The zones are stacked in a sub-parallel pattern, oriented generally east-west, and dip 87° to the south.

1. The intercepts above are not necessarily representative of the true width of mineralization.

2. Copper Equivalent values calculated using metal prices of $4.00/lb Cu, $1.50/lb Zn, $20.00/ounce Ag and $1,800/ounce Au. Metal recoveries of 100% are applied in the copper equivalent calculation.

The property is located 7 km south of the Selbaie mine and about 90 km due west of Matagami. It is accessible by a 7-km gravel road on forestry road 810 (gravel) that links the Selbaie mine to the former municipality of Joutel. A network of forestry trails provides access to the drill sites on the deposit. Hecla Mining’s Casa Berardi mine (2P Reserve of 1.3 Moz) is located 60 km south-west. The town of Matagami, a 130-km drive from the property, has a skilled workforce and is home to the Glencore mining complex. The infrastructure of the former Selbaie mine has been dismantled, but the power line is still operational.

SOQUEM, a subsidiary of Investissement Québec, is a leader in Quebec’s mineral exploration with over 50 years of expertise.

In 1997, SOQUEM drilled discovery hole B26-03, which intercepted 1.87 g/t Au and 2.89% Cu over 11.3 meters. Since that time, SOQUEM has systematically explored the project and drilled over 254 holes (115,311 meters). Results were incorporated in the company’s 2018 mineral resource estimate.

The complete database for B26 now includes 298 drill holes for a total of 129,184 m. Of these, 48 were drilled in 2024 by Abitibi Metals, 191 were drilled by SOQUEM from 2013, and 63 are considered historical.

In 2023, Abitibi Metals secured an 80% earn-in option on the project, building on SOQUEM’s legacy to unlock the full potential of this high-grade polymetallic deposit. Together, we aim to transform B26 into a flagship asset for Quebec’s mining future.
