Jon Deluce is a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience in mineral exploration and the capital markets. As CEO, Mr. Deluce is involved in the company’s marketing, financing, and corporate development. During his time as an executive he has successfully negotiated option and joint venture partnerships with multiple senior companies including Kirkland Lake Gold and Barrick. He has developed long-standing relationships with an extensive network of high-net-worth retail investors, brokers, and institutions. Mr. Deluce is a former Manager at Ernst & Young. While at Ernst & Young he worked in the Assurance and Advisory practices with many of the senior gold producers.
Mr. Deluce is a member of a Family Office with 25 years of experience in the exploration space through their private prospect generator company, strategic equity investments and board representation on numerous junior mining companies. The office has had numerous successful transactions in the mining space including having board representation and being one of the largest shareholders of Holmer Gold Mines, which was successfully taken over by Lake Shore Gold.
Norman Farrell has sat on the board of numerous junior mining companies as the founder, officer and director starting in 1987. From 1993 he was president of Forexport Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Le Groupe Forex Inc, a public company and one of Canada`s leading Oriented Strand Board manufacturer, taken over in 1999 by the multinational forest industry company Louisiana Pacific Corp. Since 2001 he has been active in consulting work mainly in the forest industry. Norman is a resident of Montreal Quebec and is well connected with junior mining focused brokers and investors within the province. Norman holds a Bachelor of Commerce from HEC of Montreal University.
Steven Lauzier operates a consulting company named SL Exploration Inc since 2010, which provides services to the exploration companies of Quebec. Over the years, the Company developed a specialization in soil sampling and is associated with multiple recent soil discoveries in James Bay and the Abitibi area. Steven is also well versed in claim management, stakeholder relations (citizens, municipalities, MRC, first nations, CPTAQ, and land owners), and the permitting process of the different Quebec ministries related to mineral exploration and project development. Multiple years ago, using his financing and geological knowledge, he was generating properties and exploration targets that were sold to other parties.
Mr. Deluce obtained his Industrial Engineer from the University of Toronto. He has 40 years extensive experience in leadership roles, including both business ownership and business management.
Mr. Demers is a Professional Geologist with over two decades of experience focused on the Abitibi Gold Region of Quebec, Canada including Aurizon Mine Ltd’s Casa Berardi Mine.
He was an integral member of the management team that contributed extensively to the company’s evolution from early-stage exploration to the commencement of mining operations and was the primary point of contact with senior mining analysts and investment bankers. In 2013 Hecla Mines (USA) acquired Aurizon for $796 million.
Mr. Williams is an accomplished mining executive and engineer, renowned for his track record of executional excellence in successful mine restarts and builds.
His extensive background in the mining industry, especially in Quebec, is an asset to our team. His instrumental role in transforming the Lamèque gold project in Quebec from a Preliminary Economic Assessment stage to a fully operational mine in just 18 months is a testament to his expertise.
Mr. Kallio brings a wealth of experience from his four-decade career in the mining industry, where he has served in several roles focused on exploration, underground and open pit mine planning, scoping, and feasibility studies in Canada and abroad.
Most recently he served as Executive Vice President, Exploration Strategy and Growth at Agnico Eagle (2022 – 2023) and Senior Vice President, Exploration for Kirkland Lake Gold (2018 – 2022).
Victor Cantore, CEO, President, and Director of AMEX Exploration, led the company to grow its market cap from a few million to a peak of $400 million. With 30 years of capital markets experience, he has organized financings, mergers, and acquisitions, particularly in Quebec. His board roles in several companies further enhance his value as an advisor to Abitibi Metals.
